Jupiter in Gemini Square Saturn in Pisces- Mutable MADNESS, Expansion

On August 19th, we have the biggest aspect of 2024 with Jupiter in Gemini in a contentious square aspect to Saturn in Pisces, both at 17 degrees. Jupiter and Saturn only square one another about every 10 years or so. This is the 1st of their 3 square aspects( the 2nd aspect is in December 2024 and the last in June 2025). Jupiter is the planet of wisdom, expansion and big thinking. Saturn is the planet of restriction, obligations and hard work. Being that both are in mutable signs( Gemini + Pisces) there could be lots of swirl and unstable energy to this aspect. The mutable signs are at the end of a season and represent lots of change and instability ( quite like how the weather is as it changes from one season to the next). Feeling like we aren't on solid ground will be a common theme now with this aspect.

Jupiter in Gemini square Saturn in Pisces is here to bring forth a lot of contradictory energies. On one hand we will have a desire to expand ( Jupiter) but will need to learn some tough lessons ( Saturn) that might not bring forth the desired results we are seeking. Jupiter square Saturn wants to bring forth situations that require our faith + patience. Being able to find higher wisdom in circumstances that might feel limiting initially is one of the big lessons of this transit.
