July 2022- The Water to Soothe; The Fire to Inspire, Wrap Yourself Up

Welcome to July 2022! This month wants to give you lots of grace and space to FEEL + NURTURE yourself in a world gone mad. When I began writing this forecast, I could feel the collective sadness in a profound way. While July 2022 holds a lot of beautiful aspects from the cosmos, there is a sense that we are moving backwards instead of forwards. This month is asking that you express your vulnerability + unite with others to heal and offer support. May we not lose sight of our ability to embrace one another in a time of confusion + senselessness. May we not silence our emotions in favor of being stoic. There is beauty in keeping our hearts open with healthy boundaries.

As we enter this month, there is a lot of shit going on that feels out of our control + many are experiencing a heavy heart. Since we are now in Cancer season, emotions of all kinds are coming to the surface to be purged and cleansed. In a world with so much contention, we are being asked to keep the faith in our hearts + to trust the universe. Issues connected to our sense of safety and security are big themes now for many.

The beginning of July 2022 begins with some tension + explosive energy so this is where I will begin....

On July 1st, Mars, the planet of action, aggression and movement, who is currently in his home sign of Aries, meets up in a tense 90 degree aspect with Pluto, the planet of transformation, intensity and regeneration who is currently in the sign of Capricorn. Mars in Aries in a battle with Pluto in Capricorn can bring a fighting desire of destruction and chaos. When the planet of war( Mars) meets up with the planet of death(Pluto) there are lots of disagreements that can become unbearable and full on in nature. The higher vibration of this aspect is an inner drive to conquer our tasks and responsibilities with intensity and purpose. Many folks could simply lose their shit in a big way. Be mindful of what you are saying and how you are saying it. A ticking time bomb of emotions could be triggered at any time. It is best to come from a place of understanding instead of a place of being understood. Keeping your cool could prove difficult but will be necessary at this time.

Moving to the middle of the month, on July 13th we have the Full Moon at 21 degrees of Capricorn. Full Moons are always highly emotional and bring things to the surface to be cleansed and released. They represent manifestations, endings and culminations. Capricorn, the 10th zodiac sign is known to represent structure, karma, obligations, responsibility and hard work. The Full Moon in Capricorn is here to bring completions to one or more areas of our lives that we are trying to control and lead. We are being asked to release some heavy karma with this full moon. Some folks could finally see results connected to what they began when we had the New Moon in Capricorn earlier this year. For other folks, this full moon represents a time to tap into the power of surrendering old structures and ideals that no longer serve our highest good. Since Capricorn is traditionally associated with the "father" and Cancer( where the Sun is) is associated with the "mother" many issues around our connection to both our mother and father will be brought up. This Full moon wants us to find the balance of honoring our inner masculinity and at the same time also honoring our inner femininity. For anyone whose Sun, Moon or Ascendant is close to 21 degrees of Capricorn( +/- 3 degrees) you will be most impacted by this full moon. Expect major endings that could be very heavy and profound. The other group that will be most impacted by this full moon will be anyone with their Sun, Moon or Ascendant on or close to 21 degrees (+/- 3 degrees) in the other Cardinal signs( Aries, Cancer or Libra). This Full Moon will be hitting the most sensitive and vulnerable parts of your natal chart. For everyone else, check where 21 degrees of Capricorn falls in your natal chart to get clues on what structures you will be culminating + what baggage from the past that needs to be released.

On July 19th, Chiron, the asteroid that represents our deepest wounds and how we overcome them, turns retrograde at 16 degrees of Aries. Chiron turning retrograde in Aries is here to have us examine our deepest wounds around independence, self sufficiency and inner leadership. This transit wants us to turn inwards and examine how we nurture our desires and passions and stand up for our sovereignty and individualism. While Chiron is retrograde in Aries until December 2022, we are being asked to hone our inner strengths and commitments to ourselves from a place of wholeness instead of lack. Big wake up calls connected to how we create a sense of peace and healing around our sense of freedom + power. For those who have their Sun, Moon or Ascendant on or close to 16 degrees of Aries( +/- 3 degrees) will feel this transit the most. Expect an internal review around your deepest wounds connected to sticking up for your beliefs and personal best interests. For everyone else, check where 16 degrees of Aries falls in your natal chart to see where divine healing around your personal ambitions + sovereignty will take place.

On July 22nd, the Sun, which represents our ego, vitality and life force switches from the emotional sign of Cancer, over to its dynamic home placement of Leo. Leo, the 5th zodiac sign is known to be charismatic, a leader, creative, warm and child-like. The Sun in Leo is here to give us a boost of confidence and fiery ambition. With the Sun returning to its home sign, we are being called to honor our inner wisdom + ability to shine our light for the world to see. Expect a renewal of our passions, playful energies and a healing of our inner child's needs. For those whose Sun, Moon or Ascendant signs are in the sign of Leo, expect to come back home to your heart + to pursue your dreams + ambitions with vigor + determination.
