Full Moon in Capricorn- The Ending of an Era, Release of Karma, Hard T

On July 21st, we have the second full moon within a month with a Full Moon at 29 degrees of Capricorn. This 2nd full moon within a 30 day period is often referred to as a "blue moon". Blue Moon periods herald intensity, power and extra heightened emotions. Full moons themselves are known to bring all of our feelings to the surface and they represent endings, manifestations and culmination. Capricorn, the 10th zodiac sign is all about hard work, karma, sacrifice, practicality and long term thinking.

The Full "Blue" Moon in Capricorn is here to bring an end of an era around our struggles with power, control and the traditional patriarchal principles. There is an emotional purge with this lunation that will be hard to ignore. It is time to take a good and honest look at where we have given up our power, come from a place of "looking good" and sacrificed ourselves, just to fit into society's structures. It is time to reclaim our sense of purpose and to end cycles connected to self doubt and self sabotage. There is a chance now to really build something that could outlast our lives. The Full Moon in Capricorn is being aspected by a couple of the outer planets. The first is a conjunction ( 0 degree) aspect between the Full Moon and retrograde Pluto, the planet of power, transformation, death/rebirth who is currently at 0 degrees of Aquarius. The Full Moon conjunct Pluto will add an even greater and more profound intensity to this full moon. Expect a lot of "life/death" types of situations to arise now. Deep and powerful transformation or transmutation will occur with this aspect. Explosions of all kinds are highlighted so do your best to remain as calm and grounded as possible. The second aspect is a lovely sextile ( 60 degree) aspect between the Full Moon and Neptune, the planet of illusion, the imagination and spirituality who is currently at 29 degrees of Pisces. The Full Moon in harmony with Neptune will add a sense of spiritual refuge and a dreamy like quality to our feelings at this time. Some amazing and spiritually enhanced music or art could be created with this aspect. We will want to dive deep into our imagination and will have to watch out for the negative side of this influence which could be literal delusion or fantasy based thinking. The key with this aspect will be around heightening our sense of compassion and understanding for ourselves and others.
